I have a wonderful update: the decks are shipping!
When will you get your decks?
The decks are shipping in stages:
UK backer's decks shipped out yesterday (some of you may have gotten them today!)
EU and "rest of world" orders (NOT US/CA) will ship out next week from the UK
US orders will ship in the next two weeks.
Amazingly, because of the printing delay, the US decks will be arriving just as I will be arriving in the US. This means I can ship them to you myself--hurray! It gives me such joy to package up each one for each of you. And I'll be writing you a personal note inside the top of your deck box as well.
And nowwe're a community!
I have been feeling this for some time as I have connected with you throughout the KS campaign, on Instagram, and now as backers and buyers are receiving their decks. We have so much in common and so much to share!
So I have created a private Facebook Group just for us: folks who are working with the Power of the Yin Oracle Deck.
This will be the place to show us your daily readings, share the guidance that comes through for you, ask questions, offer your wisdom and explore creative ways to bring this deck to life in our daily lives and practices. Hello Friends,
Just found out from my printer that their machines actually went down for about a week, so the completion date is now next week. We're so close!!!
I've got envelopes pre-addressed, and I'm signing contracts with the US & UK fulfillment companies . . . everything is lining up and ready for when the decks are complete.
As I mentioned in a previous update, every booklet for every deck is being hand-folded. Needless to say, this is effecting the timing, but I also love that each deck is getting such individual attention, like a hand-made object. It matches the care that went into the creation of the deck by Yael and myself.
While you are waiting for the deck, I just want to invite you to visit the new YinOracle.com website. There's lots of information about the deck, beautiful visuals (of course!), and on the page "About the Text" you can listen to audios of three of the cards.

Updateon Your Decks
It looks like the decks will be ready to ship from the UK printer on Monday May 22.
The printer will then ship them to three places:
to me, for UK orders (I've decided to fulfill these myself. I'll send out a direct email to you UK folks soon.)
to a UK fulfillment company who will send out EU and rest-of-the-world orders
to a US fulfillment company to send out US & Canada orders
Then, of course, the decks ship to YOU!
Live workshop in London May 27
After a successful launch party co-hosted by the Wootique London, we're putting on a half-day workshop at the Wootique's new shop and studio space. If you're nearby, come join us! It will be intimate: only 6 participants. Here's the link to all the info and registration.
Something Beautiful
Deck illustrator D. Yael Bernhard has a simply lovely weekly email that comes out every Sunday called "Image of the Week." This week's post was about an incredible image, "Woman with a Vessel." It has a strong resonance with this deck's "Chthonic" illustration: a snakey woman in an Aboriginal style. In this post, she talks about her deep exploration into "the indigenous, earth-based cultures that nourished my young artist's soul." Yael is a beautiful writer and so eloquent about her creative process and inner experience. Here's a linkso you can read this post (and you'll be able to subscribe to her weekly emails too).
ARequest for EU& AU Folks
I would love for The Power of the Yin Oracle Deck to be able to reach EU & Australian folks as easily, directly and affordably as possible. The best solution for this seems to be connecting with EU & AU stores who could carry the decks. I'm excited to share there are two confirmed sources for decks in the EU right now:
What I would love is for you to ask your favorite shop in the EU or AU to carry the deck. Here are some shops I have emailed already--so your request might encourage them if they are already considering it!

Just a few quick things.

If you purchased any of the Inbox Retreats or my instant-access course You Are Not Alone: Connecting with Guides and Guidance, you should now have received the notification emails for your membership portal (where you will find this content) and the welcome email for the particular course you purchased.
For most of you, the Inbox Retreats actually began back in January. (Hey: I'd love to hear what you think!)
If you have any questions about these rewards, how to use the membership platform, etc, please let me know.
And if you didn't purchase any of these, but are now quite interested, you can do so through the BackerKit preorder store, or use the individual links above.
CreditCard Declines
I'm happy to say that all but ten cards were charged successfully for the final costs. Thank you!
If your card was one of the few that were declined, this could be for a couple of reasons. There are the obvious causes (not enough funds, outdated card, etc), which you can remedy and then make any updates on your BK survey here OR your bank may have flagged the charge as potential fraud. This is where you'll need to do a little sleuthing and clear things up with your bank. Then I can re-run the card and hopefully it will all go through. Thank you!
Questions about final charges
Some of you have gotten in touch with me to ask about the VAT and shipping added to your order. In some cases the charges were erroneous, in others I'm investigating better options, and still others are just-very-costly. I reallyappreciate you reaching out when you have questions or concerns so I can make any adjustments and catch any errors. There are so many details; your own eyes on your order really help me. Thank you, again!
